Its the weekend so I can relax…said no mother ever…..

I still get excited though when Friday rolls around.

Maybe its the left over from the feeling you had when you were a kid and it was the last day of school for the week.

But as you know, for mothers, you’re still on shift..

I wanted to check in and let you know that my dear Miss V is recovering well from her surgery for Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.

For those of you who missed it, scroll on back and check out her story.

She had her tonsils, adenoids and turbinates removed a few weeks ago.

Interestingly, the ENT reported that her turbinates and adenoids were particularly mucky.

All this despite being on nasal sprays, having immunotherapy for allergies and having had her adenoids out once already at age 7…..

In fact, research shows that without her sprays, her apnoea would have been twice as bad…..

Eeek.

So now she’s past the 2 week rest and recovery time, no doubt we will be out enjoying the beautiful sunshine this weekend.

So I might still be on Mother Shift this weekend, but…..its looking like a pretty nice day for work….
